The Rain Bird TRU6I is a versatile program-based indoor irrigation controller/timer that offers WiFi-ready capabilities. Designed for residential applications, this controller provides professional features and reliability, making it an excellent choice for taking control of your landscape.

With the Rain Bird TRU6I, you can enjoy flexible programming options that enable specialized watering schedules for each area of your yard. The intuitive programming dial and multi-function LCD display make it easy to set up and customize your watering schedules. The controller can be quickly upgraded to remote WiFi-based, mobile device operation (Apple iOS or Android) by inserting a Rain Bird LNK2 WiFi Module (sold separately).

The Rain Bird TRU6I features individual A, B, C programs per zone, with up to four start times per program, allowing for a total of 12 distinct start times per zone. It can control up to six valves, with watering duration options ranging from 1 minute to 6 hours. The automatic watering options can be customized by days of the week, odd or even calendar days, or a cyclic schedule every 1 to 30 days.

For added convenience, the Manual Station feature allows you to water a single zone, all zones, or an individual program. The Season Adjust function enables you to increase or decrease watering times by 5% to 200% for all programs at once, or for individual programs. The Rain Delay feature allows you to manually suspend and resume watering for 1 to 14 days, or it can operate a rain sensor (sold separately) for automatic delays and restarts.

The Rain Bird TRU6I also offers professional programming features, including an interstation delay of 1 second to 9 hours, rain sensor bypass by zone, save/restore programming, control of the zone by a master valve or pump start relay, and the ability to reset to factory defaults. The controller's non-volatile memory permanently saves your current programming, and a built-in lithium battery maintains the time and date, even in the event of a power outage.

Designed for indoor mounting, the Rain Bird TRU6I's sealed case protects against moisture, insects, and grime. It also features built-in surge protection to guard against damage from lightning strikes and power surges. The controller automatically troubleshoots valves and suspends watering to the affected zone, displaying a warning message to identify the valve number.

The Rain Bird TRU6I is compatible with most 24 VAC irrigation valves and includes a transformer power plug, a 6-foot power cord, and a user manual. It meets EPA WaterSense criteria when paired with the LNK2 WiFi Module and a rain sensor (sold separately). With its robust set screw terminals for AC power, valve connections, master valve/pump start relay, and rain/rain freeze sensor, the Rain Bird TRU6I is a reliable and versatile irrigation controller that can help you efficiently manage your landscape.
